Dave's engineering journey began when he left school and gained his qualification as a fitter/turner/machinist at Robert Stones. From there he became a leading hand at Hall Engineering. Later Dave moved on to NZ Fertiliser Works as maintenance and engineering foreman, then to a similar position at Pace Engineering.

Down the track, he worked at New Plymouth District Council as the maintenance and engineering supervisor for the Waste and Water division. Adding to his vast toolkit, he then worked at Warner construction as supervisor and planner, as well as spending time at Methanex as a maintenance planner.

During this time, Dave has also renovated houses and gained valuable skills outside the workshop. Being based locally his entire working career, he has a strong network and industry-specific local knowledge, and is a valuable source of information.

With his extensive experience and commitment to quality workmanship, Dave is a valuable asset for any project, big or small.
